The Health Through Peace conference is running between 4-6th September 2017, at the University of York.
Medact and the IPPNW are bringing together health professionals, students and peace activists to debate, discuss and discover how to confront global insecurity as an international health community.
They’re inviting researchers, speakers and organisations to present on a range of topics, from militarisation and violence to the refugee crisis and climate change.
Submit an abstract by 31st May for the chance to present your research.
At this stage, they’re particularly looking for papers that explore the public health link across:
- Climate change and conflict
- Racism, misogyny and the rise of the Right
- Gender, violence and conflict
- Arms control and disarmament
Put your paper in by 31st May.
