People say I’m a bit bananas, so I thought why not dress the part? You may have noticed me around in your lectures/campus as I’ve been dressing up in a banana costume for the week as I attend Medical School. The struggle of getting into my lecture seat, however, is nothing compared to that faced by the orphans and needy children supported by your donations.
As well as this, I’ve climbed Breacon Beacons! As anyone who knows me is aware, I’m an exhibition of human clumsiness, so please donate generously to motivate me to overcome this extra obstacle to the climb. Again all joking aside, this obstacle is nothing compared to the disadvantage faced by so many children and the needy in so many countries across the world, all of who Islamic Relief does so much important work for.

A bit more on Islamic Relief – they’re such a valuable charity – at the moment it is the biggest official charity on the ground in Syria helping people there as well as the refugees. They’re also working in Yemen, Palestine and east Africa and provide general aid such as food and water to many parts of Africa as well as sponsoring orphans. It would mean so much to get to my fundraising goal.
Best wishes and thank you so much
